Post Road Iron Works
Post Road Iron Works has been one of the most exciting clients we've had the good fortune to work with. At first glance, the facade of the firm's retail location in Greenwich, Connecticut appears as a humble fireplace and antique hardward outlet. But when visitors walk past their offices, they emerge into a factory big enough to repair the fuselage of a commercial jet. The vast factor floor overlooks over 10 acres of steel, connected by railroad siding. After years of putting off getting serious about their promoting their work, Post Road Iron Works asked for our help guiding them into the 21st century of digital marketing.

We started by updated the logo, simplifying and unifying elements with a 1920's "retro" typeface. We created variatons that fit the firm's work and style. We built out a very complex and detailed website featuring hundreds of projects. We combed through thousands of photographs, retouching, cropping and color-correcting as we went. We interviewed dozens of stakeholders and crafted descriptions, specifications and credits for large-scale commercial, residential and institutional projects throughout the New York area.
For projects too new to have photography on hand, we set up location shoots to document the work and the finished projects. This presented opportunities to be present to photograph Post Road Iron's amazing work during construction phases at the new Yankee Stadium, the 911 Memorial pavillions in lower Manhattan, the World Trade Center Oculus, the new Whitney Museum of American Art, and many other locations.
