The Child Care Council of Westchester, Inc., based in Scarsdale, NY, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting quality early care and education for children and families throughout Westchester County. The Child Care Council contacted Seaver Interactive and asked us to design and build a new website and update their logo and branding along with other marketing materials, such as event marketing, that would offer an approachable and accessible gateway for families and professionals.

Since its founding in 1968, the Council has served as a vital resource for parents, child care providers, employers, and community organizations, striving to ensure that every child has access to safe, nurturing, and affordable child care.​

As one of New York State’s largest child care resource and referral agencies, the Council offers a comprehensive range of services. For families, it provides personalized referrals to licensed child care providers, guidance on evaluating care options, and assistance in accessing financial aid, including scholarships and public subsidies. The Council also supports over 750 local child care programs by offering professional development, technical assistance, and resources to help providers enhance the quality of their services and meet regulatory requirements.

 

In our design we've attempted at every step to echo key themes of education and engagement. Interactive features, photo galleries, and dynamic access to applications, advocacy projects, and the downloading of needed information brings the Child Care Council of Westchester to life for parents, families, professionals, and strategic partners.

The website emphasizes approachability and accessibility, reflecting the Council's mission to support both caregivers and providers. The Child Care Council of Westchester strengthens the foundation for children's healthy development and helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
