Seagreen Organics
This has been a particularly fun project for Seaver Interactive, with a good story behind it. The Sea Green project began for us when a chemical engineering graduate student came to us with one big idea: a process for acquiring tons of excess seaweed found along the northeast coast, and converting it into fertilizer.
The result was a liquid or dry powder usable as a 100% organic, biodegradeable, non-fishy-smelling fertilizer with lots of nutrional benefits including reduced water consumption, together with demonstrably superior results in plant growth, resilience and ongoing germination. Only problem was, he had no idea where to start. Luckily, we did.

We helped create the brand by refining naming choices for the company. We designed a beautiful logo, complete with seahorse, seaweed and the use of a post-modern typeface. The logo was intended to always be accompanied by the slightly funky serif typeface Stickley. Together, they really captured the essence of the brand. We crafted and developed a sophisticated website that was responsive for mobile devices. We built the website and an ecommerce section and set the company up for direct online ordering, sales and fulfillment.
We designed and crafted labels and packaging for various sub-brands on a wide range of products ranging from small bottles to 255 gallon drums. We wrote dozens of taglines, such as "From our Yard to Yours," accompanied by photography showing an expanse of ocean. We crafted brochures and sales materials.
In short, we helped Sea Green grow into one of the fastest-growing natural fertilizer manufacturers and distributors around. They've acquired a new factory and are manufacturing and shipping hundreds of tons of product by air, truck and rail to destinations up and down the East Coast (so far). Not bad for a kid with an idea.
